MIGHTY
MIKE MUSIC VIDEO ACTOR
Mighty Mike is a little person actor and
performer who has featured in many music videos for a broad range of
artists spanning rock, rap, country, pop and alternative genres.
A highlight has been working with hard rock
supergroup Velvet Revolver, which includes former Guns N’ Roses members
Slash, Duff and Matt Sorum with singer Scott Weiland from Stone Temple
Pilots. Dwarf entertainer Mighty Mike acted in their music video for the
hit power ballad Fall To Pieces, which helped keep the song at #1
on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for 11
consecutive weeks in 2004.
Midget fire-breather Mighty Mike featured in
the video clip for The Whole World by hip hop duo OutKast. The
song then went on to win the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance
by a Duo or Group.
He also played a role in Blondie’s video
clip for Good Boys, the only single from their 2003 album The
Curse of Blondie. This gave midget actor Mighty Mike the opportunity
to not only work with Debbie Harry, but famed director Jonas Åkerlund,
whose videography to that point included the likes of Madonna, Metallica,
U2, Roxette, Moby, Robbie Williams and Ozzy.
In the country genre, midget entertainer
Mighty Mike featured in SHeDAISY’s single Passenger Seat, the
first single from their third studio album Sweet Right Here. The
video with Mighty Mike breathing fire received a heap of airplay on
country music television in 2004, while the song reached #12 on the
Billboard country charts and the album went Gold.
Mighty Mike also performed fire-breathing in
the Purple Stuff video by the late rapper Big Moe. His Willy
Wonka and the Chocolate Factory-themed video was played heavily on
MTV as the album peaked at #3 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop
Albums chart.
Dwarf entertainer Mighty Mike has also
worked with renowned rapper T-Pain for his spectacular live music
television performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the MTV
Video Music Awards and the BET Awards in 2008.
Little person Mighty Mike is available to be
cast in a wide range of roles for music videos and music television
performances, utilising stage
skills and stunts like fire breathing, juggling, unicycling,
acrobatics, and wrestling while dressed in a wide range of costumes to
add wow-factor and help make the video memorable.
